Dr. Emmanuella Naa Deedei Tagoe is a Physician Specialist and Cardiology Fellow – In-Training working in the Internal medicine Department of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, a tertiary facility in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
She is an active member of the society and is committed to advancing the course of cardiovascular care in Ghana through her involvement in the GSC’s activities and her dedication to her training.
She is passionate about preventative cardiovascular medicine and women’s cardiovascular health as well as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). She is currently pursuing 1 year post-graduate Diploma in Preventative Cardiovascular Medicine with the University of South Wales, United Kingdom. She also has some research interests especially in cardiovascular function in pregnant women with sickle cell disease.
Dr Tagoe is a Fellow of the Stroke and Cardiovascular Training program under which she pursued a study to determine psychological distress in caregivers of patients with chronic disease specifically Stroke.
